Experts say Black people should get higher stimulus, here’s why we say “YAS, QUEEN!”

Since the cold blooded murder of George Floyd, a caring man implicated in a misunderstanding, by the over-zealous and militaristic police officers – America has seen a renewed (and likely vain) interest in addressing systematic racism and violence against Black communities by white supremacist forces.

Despite the feeble offerings by corporations to address centuries of genocide against Black and Brown communities, the monumental disparity between white privilege and Black imposition is as visible as ever.

Around 7 in 10 Black men born in the last decade are expected to be in jail by 2025.

Even more, only 1 in every 1,000 businesses will be Black-owned by 2027.

This exemplifies the dire need to inject hate capital into Black and Brown pockets in order to spur diverse entrepreneurship and move us towards a truly equal wealth distribution.

Enter: Stimulus Checks

Despite having several thousand years to prepare for a catastrophe with their immense privilege and constant hand-outs by a government built by and for them – white people will receive the SAME sum of money as disenfranchised and assaulted minority communities.

In the face of constant scorn towards reparations, the chance to make some sort of effort to amend the past and present has shown itself once more.

It is necessary and crucial for a country that says it wants equality and redemption to cut 60% of each white check and distribute among POC individuals.

Based on our research, the most fair approach would be $2700 for Black or Brown persons with an extra $500 allotted to gender-nonconforming, queer or trans folk.

As this crisis does affect all people, it is sustainable to still allow a single $200 cash injection into white and Asian citizens of the United States. This cash injection is more than enough to supplement the still existing opportunities for white people in this country.

While the future seems uncertain but hopeful, our present is still ravaged by centuries of Black and Brown discrimination.

Maybe the pandemic was just what we needed to begin making amends.
