Whenever a strong woman rises to the top, the white cis patriarchy seems to bring them down with it.
Yes, Holmes was brought down by misogyny.
Yes, you have been lied to by the white mass media.
Her project suffered under the same system that has tried to paint BLM as the devil, has trash talked Kamala Harris, and continues to show obviously cherry picked and censored videos of the immigration “situation” in Sweden. The system of sexism and classism and fatphobia and ableism and colorism. It’s unfortunate that this is all too common in the tech industry.
What did Elizabeth Holmes do?
She tried to change the world. Make it into a better place. She wanted to bring socialized health care into reality for millions of Americans. Yet, the media portrays her as if she had failed. Because that’s what the patriarchy does. It keeps women down.
What do you think was wrong with Elizabeth Holmes?
We are told that “she lied, cheated, and stole from those who trusted in her”, in reality, she tried to take back what they stole from us, you and me, she tried to expose the medical complex. The company she founded was never a fraud.
A woman “lying” is seen as inevitably bad by the patriarchal society we live in today because it represents Christian female flaws like being seductive or deceptive or selfish, something only people like the “online shop guy” and “car maker guy” male billionaires are allowed to do. If a male influencer made a video on how their first steps in their business was to slightly exaggerate, do you think the media would rise up against them? Well, there are countless examples, and it sure hasn’t happened.
And of course, feminism has been working hard. The person who is to be blamed, if ANYONE is, is her Indian fellow that took her down with him, after he got compromised by the agencies. Mind you, Indians are Indo-European, i.e. white, and are should not be put under the same equity-bringing protections are real BIPOC peoples.
It is time to tell the real story, of a hero woman, who fought against the patriarchy, the medical industrial complex. To help marginalized people, fat people, queer people. She could have cured all of our diseases. She was getting close. And she had to be shut down, by a ridiculously long sentencing. They tried to get away with murdering a woman.
