Oppressed POC Jossie Smollet won’t serve time for crime because ‘mental health’, certainly not because of fame

If you are famous and black, you might be able to escape punishment with this simple trick that has attorneys MAD!

Jussie Smollett escaped punishment today for his crime despite being an oppressed POC.

Chicago Tribune reports,
“Convicted actor Jussie Smollett was ordered released from jail late Wednesday pending appeal of his conviction and 150-day sentence for staging a hoax hate crime on himself. The actor walked out of Cook County Jail at about 8 p.m. with his lawyers.

So the judges decided that because his appeal would take the same amount of time as his sentence, then what’s the point of the judicial system at all?

It could be the part of his sentencing where he shouted “I’m not suicidal” in an attempt to portray himself as someone who is targeted and needing protection. It was a bold strategy considering he faked an attack on himself already.

Like Cosby, Smollett doesn’t have to pay for his crimes.

His mental health was apparently a major factor in this decision and, for some reason, isn’t successful with less famous people or conservatives.

Chicago Tribute reports,

“The one-page order issued by the Illinois Appellate Court stated that Smollett was to be released from Cook County Jail after signing a $150,000 recognizance bond, which would not require him to post any money.
The three-judge panel was split 2-1, with Justices Thomas Hoffman and Joy Cunningham agreeing to grant the motion. The only explanation offered in the order was that Smollett has never been convicted of a violent offense and would have completed his sentence of incarceration well before his appeal is decided.”

Smollett accused the conviction of being political despite definitely committing the crime. He did not feel that his release was political. He seems like an honest fella.

Meanwhile, we are going to court soon for tax evasion and will investigate this legal strategy by yelling that we are not suicidal in court and making sure we prolong the appeal process to take the amount of years we’re sentenced since apparently that’s a major factor in restitution for the crime you committed?
